Honolulu House

Honolulu, HI

Upon relocating to Honolulu, two scientists from Woods Hole who were clients over a decade ago hired JNA for the second time to renovate their new home. The existing house was essentially a stick-built Hawaiian cottage with natural charm. Desiring to respect and preserve that charm, the house underwent a complete renovation. A large family room was transformed into a Lanai with an existing pool being refurbished. The project was a labor of love for the owners as they and JNA embarked upon the design in 2009 and the clients moved into the house in May of 2015.
